He did his job and did it well.

When we left the marina he said he job was to pack the cooler,and we finished the day two off our limit. You can control when the fish are feeding,but if they are this is the man to put you on them. In addition to his skill as a guide and angler he provided a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. It didn't have that "transaction" feel the entire time. It just felt like I was on a buddies boat from back home talking and joking the whole time while hammering the fish!

I will be exclusively booking through him for all my gulf shores/ft morgan charters in the future.

Captain Patrick took Mike and I out for 4hr trip at 11:30am. What a great day! Caught a couple black drum and 6 sheepshead. Hooked more too small to keep and one nice redfish that got away. Patrick was great at keep our lines in the water w fresh bait, hitting good fishing, watching dolphins and trading stories. Super boat and gear, he cleaned fish. We grilled it later for delicious fish tacos w arugula, mango salsa and feta and brought frozen fish home to TN. We will be back and recommend him for families, he keeps kids busy while parents can fish!

Excellent adventurer for 5 first time gulf fishermen and women. Original charter was cancelled due to bad weather, but Captain Patrick was very accommodating and worked hard to get us out the next day. My two sons (9&11) and I went with Captain Pat and had a great time! We didn’t catch a lot of keepers, but we did get some fish. There was a really strong current and at the marina it seemed like no one had a very successful day. We did catch a nice flounder and we caught several lady fish, and some mangrove snapper, and redfish that were a little too small to keep. The kiddos think that Pat was great. He spent time explaining what they were doing and why and how do it right. I appreciated how well he treated them. For me it was great to have another adult helping the boys out. It was the first time I’ve got to fish myself in a long time since I wasn’t tying knots and baiting hooks. I definitely recommend Trick Em and we’re definitely going out on this trip again next time we’re in Fort Morgan!

Captain Patrick was great with my children! It was my children’s first time on a boat ( age 6 and 7). He was very patient with them, helping them understand boat safety. He was knowledgeable about all the questions we had for him. His number one goal was to make sure we had a good experience. Added bonus, we got to see dolphins and a jellyfish. I would recommend him to anyone! If we come to Alabama again, I will definitely be looking for him to host our charter again!! My husband has health issues and most of the time needs a bathroom close by. Patrick was very understanding if my husband couldn’t join my kids and i last minute.

We had a great time. Ended up hooking a stingray towards the end of our time which was unexpected and amazing……the captain had to take over as the fight was intense. Captain said that in his years on the water he had never had that happen before - even the other boats close by were in a state of shock. Earlier in the day a King Mackeral hit our granddaughter’s line and in addition it was the first time for our youngest grandchild (5 years old) who not only caught the first fish of the day but ended up with the most fish caught and he didn’t even fish the last hour of the trip. Great time - great day!

My dad and I booked this trip just after the Hurricane and weren’t sure if we would be able to go due to weather, however Patrick worked with us to reschedule to a better time before we had to leave Gulfshores. Once on the boat Patrick took us to a couple spots and we were very happy to have caught 4 flounders, and a redfish. Back on the dock he cleaned all the fish for us and sealed them up air tight so that they would still be good when we got back home. I know that when we go back to Gulfshores we’ll be looking into fishing with Patrick once again!!

Captain Patrick was awesome. There were 6 of us and we easily caught our limit. We caught so many that we had to be picky so our 4 hour trip wasn’t over too quickly. Captain Patrick knew all of the hottest areas to go. We had a wonderful time. Captain Patrick cleaned them all as soon as we got back to shore. We grilled some of it right when we got back to the condo. Some of the BEST fish I’ve ever eaten. I HIGHLY recommend this. This was my first time ever doing this and it was well worth it.

Captain Patrick was professional, courteous and got us out there right when we arrived. He took time to fix any break offs and even bait hooks, but mostly we wanted to enjoy hooking up the shrimp on our own! Everyone caught fish and had a great time. 

My kids aren’t pros but could handle their own pretty good. Captain knew just when to help and when to let them go on their own. We caught speckled trout, white trout, mango snapper, croaker and a couple small blues. 

The boat was clean and well kept. We will likely fish with Trick ‘Em Charters again

We really enjoyed our 4 hr inshore fishing trip w Captain Patrick. We caught a ton of fish, mostly sheepshead and drum fish. He cleaned them all for us and recommended grilled fish tacos with arugula, feta and mango salsa. Excellent dish! He was fun to be with and kept us on the fish the whole time. Watched dolphins play next to boat. If you have kids, you’ll love fishing with him because he keeps kids entertained while you enjoy pulling in fish. Captain Patrick was friendly and excited for my little guy when he would hook up on a fish. We caught our limit of Spanish Mackerel very quickly and had plenty of time to look for other fish during our 3 hour charter. The boat and equipment were great. I wish we could have done more on our own after we caught all the Spanish , such as casting for other species. We spent a good deal of time looking using sonar but not really fishing… although admittedly, that’s just how it goes sometimes when trying to maximize a limited time on the water. All in all, it was a great trip and me and my son made great memories together. ...and enjoyed some fresh fried Spanish Mackerel at the end of the day!
